Welcome to my website. I am Professor of Economics at the Instituto de Economia (IECON), Department of Economics, Universidad de La República, Uruguay. IZA & CESifo Research Fellow and GLO Fellow. I am also the Research Co-Director of the Public Economics Group at RIDGE.
My primary research interests lie at the intersection of public, labor, and development economics. I combine administrative and experimental data with empirical methods from the field of applied microeconomics to answer policy-relevant questions.
